Because I have a wig on that gives me short hair, when I walked out with my regular hair in two long braids, people approach me, "Excuse me, did you play Maggie?" before they begin complimenting my performance.
It is still odd to walk out and have strangers approach me to tell me I was wonderful. I'm not good at accepting compliments but I at least know how to flash a warm smile and say thank you and proceed to politely chat about whatever they would like. #actorslife
