We spend a lot of time thinking about the things that aren't okay. There's plenty of those in America, but I believe that many of the good things that we take for granted are a credit to those who have served.

I've been there, as have many of you--waiting for the data to be interpreted so you know if you have a problem and what the scope of it will be.
Yes, the hope is that there is nothing to detect. But there might be, and the suspense can be painful.
None of the worrying will change the outcome.
In my family, "waiting days" are for living and loving hard--going all in, since this moment is what we have.
