@RandallTT Still have it but working up the courage to dump it soon.
@cjcrew I had been procrastinating about leaving for a long time. I finally got the push when the new owner of our service provider required a hardware upgrade (with an additional $10 monthly rental fee).
@cjcrew I hear you on those points. The pain and time of trying to get through to a real person (and then listening to their sales pitch).
Fortunately our company doesn't want their old TV equipment back. They said just take it to an electronics recycling center. So that makes it much easier.
@RandallTT We also don’t have a UPS office closer than 45 minutes away around here so I have to bully them into having the equipment picked up because their closest office is in Peoria which is an hour and a half drive and my car is a piece of crap. I hold my breath when I drive further than 10 minutes from home.
@RandallTT Comcast sometimes wants the equipment back, sometimes doesn’t. Depends on whether it’s too old to be recycled back to another customer. Everything is done for Comcast’s financial benefit.
