How do you explain to wealthy, straight, white, cis men that no, moving to Texas as a butch queer woman with a trans partner and both of you have major health conditions and disabilities is an incredibly unsafe idea in the current climate and they actually listen?
Do you want your best engineer to die? Because with subpar healthcare and aggressively anti queer policies in place both of us would not survive.

@LlamaMountainStudioArts I think wealth and power are just too intoxicating to give up. I adore Joe Biden. He’s pretty much local to me and has been around most of my adult life. He may not have been able to come back if Hillary had won, but I think he would still have tried.
McConnell looks so small and frail suddenly, like he’s folding into himself. That and the fact that we have men pushing 80 as leaders of both parties makes me wonder: we’re we always being led by men teetering on cognitive problems? I think not. The last of the early boomers will just not let go. And I can say this because these are my contemporaries.

I guess the next step for Texas and Florida will be, when motivated parents and/or students try to remedy their lack of libraries by collecting their own books and organizing reading circles or other access to banned books or a/v, to ban those as well and call them "grooming."

I don't know of any native plants which cut where I live.
I've sick skin and have rubbed just a little and created wounds.Showed one in the webbing between two fingers to my baby sis when she visited me yesterday.
It made her very sad.
