McConnell looks so small and frail suddenly, like he’s folding into himself. That and the fact that we have men pushing 80 as leaders of both parties makes me wonder: we’re we always being led by men teetering on cognitive problems? I think not. The last of the early boomers will just not let go. And I can say this because these are my contemporaries.
