Anyone using #Spoutible #Tribel or #Bluesky should carefully read the ToS and privacy policies of each site, with special focus on user data collection and sharing.
Spoiler alert: It's not good, and your privacy is NOT being protected on those networks. Also hit the tags in this post to read more about those sites that their owners won't tell you.
Then compare against CoSo's policies:

Remember, you are either the customer or the commodity.
It answers my question...more or less.
In July an industry friendly UN committee of 36 will decide whether to approve Deep Sea Mining, thinking it's just dark and barren down there. Sylvia Earle's films show otherwise. 50 to 80% of oxygen comes from the ocean. Kill the oceans and kill life on Earth. Urge your congress creatures to propose opposition from the US. Other countries have indicated disapproval.

Greetings!
Currently, I feel pretty good about joining this community. Because I genuinely care about people's well-being, there's not many social sites that reciprocate those feelings. Things I enjoy are #mysticism #music #reflection #sports #gaming #wwe #family #reading and so much more.

@PeaceMob @DavidSalo Without struggle, there can be no progress- Frederick Douglas.
We are never complete, and that is a good thing, there is always a new horizon to reach, a bar to be stretched for.
We have the ability to take everything that we were given, and use it as a foundation to go further than ever before in terms of rights, freedoms, innovation.
We honor our legacy by doing so.
@PeaceMob @DavidSalo No argument. The second law of thermodynamics and human nature shows that anything left be will increase in disorder.
There is and never will be a perfectly static answer that can be put in place. That's a myth, and its one that has gotten us into trouble time and again
To often we take the ideologies that revolutionized the past and come to view them dogmaticly
The free market works, worker ownership works. Taking what works is how we make a better, fairer system for all
Morning thought
Conservative ideology seems to be founded on a number of counterintuitive axioms, which require you to believe that everything is the opposite of what it seems; the "but-it's-really"s. For instance:
Giving people things, like money, food, or housing, may seem like it's benefiting them, *but it's really* harming them in some less tangible but, supposedly, more important way, e.g., taking away their self-respect.

I am a chaotic person, so CoSo never seemed messy to me 😜 Joking aside, responsibility *is* messy, adulting *is* hard, behaving in non-asshat ways *does* require thought. CoSo is good for / to us.
A couple years old, but a really good article on a subject that should resonate with social media users:

Just got blocked on Twitter again. Responding to a tweet that was asking me a question. Obviously they weren't interested in my answer, and the fact it was very respectful and gracious probably would have made their head explode, so despite wasting a few minutes on a very well-worded reply, I saved someone's life today. Huh!
