In the 37 years I have been officially a grown man one thing I've learned is that I have no right to police what a grown woman chooses to wear or do with her body. Not my wife, daughter, mom or any grown woman. My only concern to express, if any, is for them to continue to be safe.

Don't treat yourself as a given, an unchangeable fact, a heavy freight train barreling down an unswervable course toward an uncertain but inevitable destination.
Rather think of yourself as a story you're in the process of writing. You can't change the chapters that are already published; but with a little ingenuity, you can throw in a plot twist that gives them a whole new meaning, and take the story to a different conclusion than one might originally have assumed.
