@EllyOnTheGo A few of my online friends went dark recently after the news of the election turn out. I've been keeping a close eye out for them getting active again but I'm afraid for the worst, I wish I could say I knew where they lived, but I don't - all I can do is just hope that they are still alive and trying to find ways to protect themselves.

@MLClark The climb up from the pits always becomes easier when hands are offered in support to help you along. We often forget that we have people around us that love us and want to help but need to know how and sometimes we just don't have the words to frame it.
The climb and the load becomes easier with loving hands helping lift us out.

@Museek Oh believe me I'm far from calm and collected. I'm falling apart at the seams, but I'm doing everything I can to hunt down every bit of help organizations I can find that will be looking for helping hands, and opening channels to offer support to folks getting out of states that will endanger them. I'm angry, but I'm calm, if that makes any sense.

So if you want to know how to fight back with kindness, here's how. These two organizations are going to need all hands on deck when the Talking Orange gets into office, volunteer, donate, or sponsor them please. They are going to need the help to manage the amount of folks that are going to be fleeing to safer locations from their current residences and their families as well. If you have the means, or even space in your home to sponsor a family of LGBTQ folk, volunteer please.

Now there IS another organization similar to Railroad that is more localized to the US continental zone but they are not open right now for applicants and currently restructuring their organization. But they are expecting to reopen channels in 2025, so keep an eye on their page for updates. https://rainbowpassage.org/
