How is it that so many folks of my generation are unfamiliar with computers? Our generation invented the home computer, the Internet, the Web, graphical interfaces, laptops, cell phones...
I think you had to be willfully ignorant to not see what was going on all around you.
We were also the generation of the 60s. We wanted a revolution, we wanted a fair and just society. The Internet promised that, but too many sat back and let the capitalists and scammers gain control. It's a shame.

I’ve seen more unhinged males than females so I don’t think the “women are too emotional to lead” argument has an iota of validity.

My prediction: JD Vance is the plutocrats' offramp from Trump.
Trump is out of money and in massive legal jeopardy.
If Trump wins, he will be 25th'd out of office after a few months.
If Trump loses and the GOP cannot finagle a different result, they will drop him. He cannot be controlled, and the plutocrats need a competent authoritarian.

So hold the debate anyway. Let Kamala stand against an empty podium. Let there be dead silence for his allotted time. Let Kamala go full on without interruption or BS. And at every point, drive home that he was given the chance and CHOSE not to act.

In 2020, I already had the idea that it would probably be best if Joe Biden only governed for 4 years and then passed the baton on to a younger person. That would have the advantage that this person could have been built up in 4 years. Anyone is better than Trump. But the Democrats only have a chance if they all get behind one candidate. Time is probably too short for that.
