@Madken65
I wish I knew my dad's. He never talked about it and his records were destroyed in the NPRC fire.
You are lucky to have this information.
@MelissaHDavis @Madken65
Every few years I send a request and have periodically gotten a few more pages. Recovery is ongoing.

@b4cks4w @MelissaHDavis @Madken65 I’ve been trying for two years to get hubby’s service records and his medals…big fat nothing so far. Only a response that they got my request. 😞

Having worked around many great DoD civilians, it does take time and you would not believe the multitudinous nature of the requests.
If they've confirmed your request, they ARE working on it.
@Madken65 @b4cks4w @MelissaHDavis I hope so. We need the whole record and I’d love to have his awards. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
@MelissaHDavis @Madken65 @b4cks4w wow…that would be a surprise if you hadn’t heard it before. I hope you can find more.
I found some cool info and pictures of hubby working on the flight deck because there are “tour books” of the Eisenhower that tell about where they went and what happened.
I was worried that hubby’s records were burned but the fire was prior to his service.
