@AskTheDevil @wolfwoman You're a very thoughtful Devil, which is how I expect the Devil to be. People often associate concepts of rebellion with arrogance, or a brash nature, but rebellion can also come from a deep seated, and well thought out rejection of the established order.
I've often said I'd love to sit down with the Devil at acoffee shop and listen to them tell stories for that very reason.
@wolfwoman @AskTheDevil The fact that you are a practicing Christian makes this doubly amusing for me. ^_^
@AskTheDevil @wolfwoman Devils, but not The Devil.

@CinnamonGirlE Rhabdo is no fun, and the cramping and tearing was the worst, ankle to hip, just a sea of fire and pain.
@CinnamonGirlE Thanks buddy and thank you for caring. It means a lot to me that folks worry, though I hate to make folks worry.
@CinnamonGirlE Thing is, my second went ok, got a little sick but not bad and the subsuqent boosters have been ok too, still, it's nerve racking each time.
@CinnamonGirlE *nods* My Doc thinks it was because I was thruhiking at the time, and I got insect bit... It was this totally wacky confluence of events.
I waited 48 hours, got back on trail, hiked 20 miles, then something bit me, and my body just went nuts. I started feeling quite sick, got to a road, messaged my husband and then my legs siezed up into rictus, and it was one of the worst agonies I've ever experienced.
Doc said I was lucky to escape renal failure.
@QueenOfEverything @th3j35t3r @kel They do very well at being targets of blame and confusion. 😆
@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN Very posh!
I'm scheduled for my Covid booster on Monday and it always makes me nervous.
My first covid vaccine, I had a severe reaction that, mixed with my thru-hike, caused me to go into Rhabdo, and it ended my year after I tore a bunch of muscles in my legs. It took me about 2 months to be able to walk without pain.
It was a fluke series of events, and my second shot was alright outside a couple days of feeling funky.
Getting Vaxed is important. It's not about me, its about everyone else.
I worried my buddy @Vozy when I was visiting him because I was out running in a heavy rain. Normally I would, but the shoulders are not as well defined here, and there's a long stretch of freshly oiled road. As I'm basically running in a car lane out here, or hugging a slip of shoulder at times, I decided it was better to be cautious.
Good morning groovy souls!
I awoke feeling quite lethargic and sleepy. The 30 minute warmup workout right after waking was a death march, but I soldiered on, got ready to run after 3 cups of deathwish coffee, opened the door and its a soaking rain out there
It's not heavy, but running along side highways, I'm worried about losing my footing and falling in front of a car
Disappointed...
But the weather is supposed to clear and we're all talking about going out walking so that would be rad.
@_txgal Yeah, I can. IT's a lot harder to avoid crying.
