I make my own scouring powder for the tub and sink with Baking Soda, Washing soda, and Kosher salt (Its got the grit)
1/2 cup each in a jar and shake it up. Works like a charm
All of this is 💯% accurate
@ExecutiveFunction404 Feeling really called out right now! :P

So, I'm being a ramble beast but, Patagonia, Thule, and Osprey all do stuff with blue sign materials.
Bluesign is all about producing stuff without toxic stuff, to you and the people making it. Thule and Patagonia particularly also focus on fair labor, with Patagonia leading the charge in fair trade sewing, and recycling.
So their packing cubes, and stuff like that... Awesome stuff.
Also check out cottage industries! Small business do a lot!
@k_ratoncita @CinnamonGirlE @LnzyHou @CJLavoie When I go for walks, if I see plastic, I try to pick it up, if its not to disgusting looking (I cannot always wash my hands immediately nor do I carry gloves)
That's that much less microplastics in an environment. I found a water bottle stuck in a bush the other day.
People talk about how the Japanese have very clean streets, but that is a tradition there.
These little changes can add up to big ways. Spread the hope!

I did try, and I shall continue to try. The plastic bag is less plastic than a plastic bottle.
On this trip, I've been buying reusable bags and containers for my pills and shoes and stuff, so I can get away from ziplocs for good.
My new pill bag, is a trail food bag, made ironically... from recycled plastic.
But it will last, and its that much less going into a landfill.
Every step forward is a victory. It all matters.
@BrentSullivan @GaryPoole We are all interbeing, we rise as distinct waves, but even the most distinct waves are not separate from the ocean.
So what then is death, but a return to source, only to rise again...
Onward, toward the far horizon!
@CinnamonGirlE @LnzyHou @CJLavoie It is. I've been focusing on reducing it down to as little as possible but its still everywhere.
I bought laundry powder instead of detergent to avoid the plastic bottle. Got the heavy cardboard box it came in, felt proud of myself, opened it to find the powder contained in a plastic bag.
It is in these moments that I am reminded that I cannot let perfect become the enemy of the good. Every mindful action matters.
@BrentSullivan @GaryPoole Good answer!
@CinnamonGirlE Happy friyay beautiful soul!

It is much the same with trans folks. We often are underemployed, have less access to health care, and other pressures leads to mental health issues like Anxiety and depression.
However, with awareness there is hope. Many of these problems can be, and are already on their way to beings solved by support, and inclusion.
I know there's a lot of push back against those things right now, but that's only happening because so many people are pushing forward.
@WomanVoter @Rocker I immediately sent this to my Dad who has Parkinson's. Thank you buddy!
@gemswinc Oh wow! May it go well buddy!
@gemswinc How's your heart, buddy?
@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN Good morning buddy!

@Faustus Good morning beautiful soul!
