Knocking the dust off after a tough week of low activity.

The first few weeks of the year are often a struggle for me. Consistency counts though, I've been doing what I can when I can so even though I had to push a little harder, I was able to maintain where I've been.

There's an old saying of not letting perfect be the enemy of the good. Trying for perfection will kill progress. It's done that for me every time.

You can surpass your yesterday. Keep at it! You'll get there.

I'm holding solid with my pacing, I ran my first six miles at a comfortable 6 miles per hour but cranked up the intensity for the last mile, and ran it in 8:40.

For all my setbacks with consistency, the fact that I've kept at it at least a few days a week seems to have helped me hold on to what I've gained.

Now to go further!

It's time to knock the dust off and get back to the routine. We are past the 16th, and the icy grip of winter seems to be loosening its hold as we move forward through the month

I should be able to gym tomorrow or the next day!

All things have their season, which means no trouble facing you now will last. It is also a reminder to cherish the good, and to make the most of every blessing.

The light we hold will carry us through the dark.

I'm up way to late, but I've been helping one of my partners that's been feeling poorly.

For every valley there is a peak. The journey is constant.

And what of the other way? Well that just makes the good all the more precious, and all the more a reminder that better days do come.
