I have a Costco lasagna in my freezer. Or I could make them a bougie one with gourmet cheese from my former employer. Was thinking a veggie one. Their Thomas likes bagels, was thinking mini bagels for him.

My neighbor is going to move my car next Friday. They volunteered to do it for me. They ran off to the hospital to be induced today.

What do I do for them when I get back in 2 weeks time?

I need to repay them somehow. I never asked for this kindness.

I will of course ask if I can prepare meals, entertain the young one, or what ever else they need.

Just looked at the weather for the Eclipse in Kerrville. There is a storm a brewing in those parts. Looks like there might be some competition with Mother Nature to see this.

Today, I am not ok. Today is a day that I just want my momma. I just want to talk to her. To hear her voice. I have been having dreams with her all week. Not hearing her voice, just having her “looks”. That mom look. If you know, you know.

I miss her something terrible. I keep trying to keep her memory alive. Her spirit. She was a powerful entity. She was an influential person. I cannot be half the person she was. I can only strive to be.

Yeah. Like that wasn’t a fucking option when he tried to eat the vet the first time. He still has a 20lb head, even if he is muzzled he still is an 80lb dog and will get out of your soft muzzle with the swipe of a paw.

Someone is NOT amused.

Got yelled at over on the book of faces for using Gab/Tram drug combo for my dog to take him to the vet, you know, so he won't eat the vets face.

"BuT OpIoIdS!!!" Stupid drugs!!! Training, blah, blah, blah.

Sigh. Don't make assumptions about my dog when you don't know him, or his history.

I would rather drug my dog to be seen at the vet than but him down because he attacked someone at the vet. Literally the ONLY location he has issues.

I hate people.

Triple bypass, valve replacement. AT 88!!!!

Lived another 5 years before his stubbornness took him out in a car accident.

I can see that.
I lived with my mom. My sisters did not. They visited. They only saw what they wanted to. I saw everything. I did everything. I felt everything. EVERY DAY. I said goodbye to the woman that was my mother the day they gave me the diagnosis of lymphoma in her brain.

My heart is breaking for all that you are going to have to go through. Stay strong and remember to breathe.
