Packing for a week at camp with my daughter, my parents, 2 nieces, and nephew.

I have designated myself camp medic, apparently. ⛑️ I have ALL the first aid. All the meds. All of it. An obscene amount of it, even.

Just the way I like my preparedness.

Breakfast battle:

Romper, swimsuit, pockets.

I hate 2/3 of the words in the above list. But holy smokes when you combine these three things, freaking magic. 🪄

Took the kiddo to swim school this afternoon to try her first real (read: non-mom) lesson. All day she told me how anxious and scared she felt. I was worried the anxiety would put this endeavor to bed. 3 minutes in the pool and you would swear she’s a mermaid. That is not to say that she is an expert swimmer (or even a capable one yet) but rather she cannot get out of the water without great peril to her body and soul. 🧜‍♀️

Started a supplemental migraine regimen in addition to my rescue meds. MagOx, CoQ-10, and Riboflavin.

I look forward to preventing migraines…and the alarming “highlighter yellow” urine the doctor has promised as a side effect. 😅🫣

Either my weather app has lost its marbles and “just cannot with Fahrenheit” after today, or I had better get the winter clothes back out. ☀️❄️❓🤨

Finally got in with a new headache specialist neurologist. I am in love—in a I-hope-he-never-retires/moves/dies-kind of way, NOT in a home-wrecker way.

Hematologist wants labs every two months for 6 months and will send blood away to screen for CML. But the suspicion is so low he was confused as to why my PCP consulted him. 😳 Thanks for giving me unnecessary additional anxiety, healthcare system.
