After a week at camp, my bed has never felt so good. 😌🛌 Gonna be absolute torture peeling myself out of this thing at 5:00 to go back to work.

Returning home after a week of camp. I’m exhausted mentally and physically. Ready for some (relative) quiet at home with hubs, kiddo, and budgies. 🥱

Dad and I were having a debate in the car today on the way to the lake:

What a way to end our camp week. My brother went out and got life jackets for the 4 kids and my (still new) sister-in-law took my kiddo out on the paddle board while brother kayaked with the other three older ones. Dad and I boiled on the dock, snapping pictures. I watched my little love go from nervous and anxious to brave and enthusiastic. She did not get in the water but she stood up on the board, she took a turn paddling and splashed her feet in the water. In an hour she turned fearless. 🥹

So my parents have their house all Alexa-fied. And I don’t know how to turn on any freaking lights normally to go write a tooth fairy message for the niece who lost her dang tooth. She believes in her own personal tooth fairy and said tooth fairy always writes her back.
