So here I am. Tired af. And wide awake. Why? Well, because my parents are here. So when my parents are here my husband doesn’t stay up and watch tv because my parents will too and he’s not good at small talk, and -ya know- in-laws. So he comes to bed when I say I’m going to bed, falls asleep immediately, and snores so loudly it’s like a jackhammer in my skull.

Everyone’s asleep but me. 😭

Sent her class goody bags to give out today because her school is out for Rosh Hashanah.

We assembled the trampoline on Monday and successfully hid it behind the detached garage. Planning to put it back in the backyard while the grandparents are reading to her tonight.

The Descendants party décor is ready to deploy once she is asleep. My mom is embroidering her personalized Descendants hoodies as we speak. 💪

Out here crushing this birthday thing.

I shall spend the next hour as a lump on the sofa, then scrape together the shreds of energy that may result from said lumpiness and clean the bathroom.

I’m exhausted. Don’t remember being this drained the first time around. But then again I was ~ 7 yrs younger.

Oof. I also need to schedule my Covid and flu vaccines.
