Peeps,

It's about work...

GOTTA GET THERE

Peace Love Dove GOLF Peeps

John Lennon, a couple of months earlier, heard Bun Man whisper sweet nothings to his current belle "I'll always be true, I don't want no one but you, so please love me do"...

He then wrote "Love Me Do" by the Beatles which was released in the U.K today in 1962.

It was their first single.

Mr. Purple said this group passed the audition.

ON this date in 1969 - A Cuban defector landed a Soviet-made MiG-17 at Homestead Air Force Base in Florida.

The plane entered U.S. air space and landed without being detected.

Traffic controllers Bun Man and Mr. Purple were both asleep in the Homestead Tower and were later busted to Airman First.

The Boyz mustered out of the AF a short time later, frustrated over never getting the chance to get their wings and joining the mile high club.

FLASH...Donald Trump now says he supports 150% of the American People; he would have gone higher, but he thought it might be unbelievable if he did!!

ON this date in 1968 - "Magic Carpet Ride" was released by Steppenwolf.

Bun Man and Mr. Purple, original band members before John Kay took it over and made it his, had co-written the song, a seminal 60s hit.

The Boyz enjoyed their time w/ the 'Wolf', they had spent many years as wolves (a story for another day...)

If you didn't dance to the over-produced songs of the 80s...

You don't dance

I HOPE YOU DANCE

I said it in 2020, I'll say it again...

Less than a month...

Less than a month to SAVE...

Less than a month to SAVE A...

Less than a month to SAVE A COUNTRY...

We won't ever change Trumpies, but we can focus on what we offer...

Love America by showing what progress brings, not what turning back reveals...

Morning Peeps,

With all the issues in the world, my little problems pale in comparison.

But here goes:

Week #2 of working 15 hours within 24 hours to get my free access to Coral Canyon.

Adjusting better, learning how to pace myself (always a challenge)

Peace Be With You, and With my little challenges...

I was wondering about the origin of America, you know, why it got its name.

Am still wondering why we weren't called

Graduates of a new vocational program offered at Tulsa Community College and the University of Oklahoma will be able to begin on-the-job training right after finishing school. The move is part of the FAA’s effort to combat the employee shortage that has led to staff burnout and flight delays. Despite recent successes in ramping up hiring, the agency reported earlier this year that it’s still short about 3,000 air traffic controllers.—HVL, SK

FAA announces two vocational programs to get more air traffic controllers. Some college grads can start yelling at pilots working in control towers without having to train at the Federal Aviation Administration’s academy in Oklahoma, the agency said this week.

Homeowners there don’t usually have flood insurance, either because they aren’t expecting heavy hurricane damage that far from the coast or because they can’t afford it.

COST OF LIVING FORCES CUTTING SECURITY

Most homes in Helene’s path didn't have flood insurance. Only 2% of the homes hit by Hurricane Helene in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina had a policy protecting them against catastrophic flooding, according to an analysis by Politico and E&E News. The storm tore through six states, killing at least 200 people, with particularly sweeping devastation in the mountainous parts of western North Carolina, where few people saw it coming.

In a shocking turn of events, someone was able to use a new high-powered tech product for evil. Two Harvard students paired the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses with facial recognition software to rapidly identify strangers and compile their personal information from the internet to highlight the privacy concerns that are getting unboxed with easily accessible consumer tech.

Set aside the misogyny, the racism, the slavish need to wrap himself around Trump's most ghoulish concepts. The threat to the democracy is the reason so many Republicans and independents who don't like everything on Kamala Harris' menu will vote for her.

The sanctity of the vote is the beating heart of American democracy. And J.D. Vance couldn't even defend that.
