ON this date in 1890 - Mormon President Wilford Woodruff issued a Manifesto in which the practice of polygamy was renounced. Recent Mormon converts, Bun Man and Mr. Purple, were suddenly feeling significant angst as they both had 8 wives at the time.
The Boyz struck a deal w/ Woodruff and became French Mormons, so they kept a main wife and the other 7 became mistresses.
The Boyz always said they did this to avoid their women's heartbreak...SUCH A NOBLE GESTURE.
ON this date in 1987 - The booty collected from the Wydah, which sunk off Cape Cod in 1717, was auctioned off.

Bun Man and Mr. Purple were supposed to be among the cast but when it came to light they had photos of Lauren Tewes (Julie) in some compromising positions, the ABC geeks kicked them off the set.
The Boyz always thought the show was lame anyway.
They went back to playing cowpokes on 'Rawhide'.
