BRITNEY NEVER CAUGHT A BREAK
ON this date in 2000 - It was announced that Britney Spears would be releasing her own brand of bubble gum, "Britney Spears CD Bubble Gum", in March of that year.
Bun Man and Mr. Purple tried it when it came out; the wrappers barely covered the gum and the more the chewed it, the worse it tasted.
The gum didn't last on the market long, and so it goes and goes and goes...
ON this date in 1919 - The state of NE became the first state to place a tax on gasoline.
The tax was 1 cent per gallon.
NE state legislators Bun Man and Mr. Purple voted against the assessment saying, "This is a slippery slope!"
But soon, the whole freakin' nation was following and legislators all over the country were funding their pet projects by taxing the shit out of everything.
This is why marijuana will be legal, it's the next new revenue source for governments.
ON this date in 1751 - Edward Willet displayed the first trained monkey act in the U.S.
Hearing this, Kingmakers Bun Man and Mr. Purple, hurried to Willet's house to determine and learn the training techniques.
The Boyz envisioned the usage in many public campaigns and lo and behold the Boyz' training was so successful, that by the mid 1800s, their monkey training had been instilled in all sitting Congressmen.
ON this date in 1986 - Filippino President Ferdinand E. Marcos fled the Philippines after 20 years of rule after a tainted election.
Social commentators Bun Man and Mr. Purple were most interested in this outcome. Bun Man said, "What's the world coming to that a self-indulgent despot can't remain in power forever?"

So, I'm driving home from supporting the Mikster, and this person in front of me is on the left, then on the right.
