JUST THE BOYZ BEING NOBLE...

ON this date in 1890 - Mormon President Wilford Woodruff issued a Manifesto in which the practice of polygamy was renounced. Recent Mormon converts, Bun Man and Mr. Purple, were suddenly feeling significant angst as they both had 8 wives at the time.

The Boyz struck a deal w/ Woodruff and became French Mormons, so they kept a main wife and the other 7 became mistresses.

The Boyz always said they did this to avoid their women's heartbreak...SUCH A NOBLE GESTURE.

ON this date in 1987 - The booty collected from the Wydah, which sunk off Cape Cod in 1717, was auctioned off.

The worth was around $400 million.

Bun Man and Mr. Purple have this incredulous look on their face.

Bun said, "I've paid some big bucks for booty before but never that much."

I had to tell him it was a different kind...

WORK YOUR CONNECTIONS

I suddenly remembered the quote from the naturalist, John Muir, who said...

"While on a walk in the woods, reach down and pick up a stick and you'll find it is connected to all things..."

An Oldie, but a GOODIE...

A Reminder on the USA GOP's need to sort and categorize, and then eliminate.

SOMETIMES, WE DON'T KNOW WHY WE'RE DESERVING

Spot: Since you went away I've been hanging around, I've been wondering why I'm feeling down
Dot: You went away, it should make me feel better, but I don't know, oh
Spot: How I'm gonna get through, baby, what have I, what have I, what have I done to deserve this
Dot: How I'm gonna get through, baby, what have I, what have I, what have I done to deserve this, how I'm gonna get through, baby

“It is common for politicians obsessed with subjecting their fellow man to harsh moral rules to be the first to break them. And in the MAGA cult, it is also common for these hypocrites to not like to be called what they are. At least in public. Because in private they brag about it.”-PM

ON this date in 1977 - "The Love Boat" debuted on ABC-TV.

The theme song was sung by Jack Jones and was written by Paul Williams and Charles Fox.

Originally based on 'The Life and Times of Bun Man and Mr. Purple', the show quickly became a sappy sitcom full of cheap, maudlin, and gratuitously cute 'love'.

The Boyz would have none of that and they distanced themselves from the show post haste.
