Weapons of war are pretty damn impersonal now, e.g. a drone operator miles away can snuff out an enemy.

When we do fight, we gotta be way more smart about how and when we fight.

Tough and controversial loss for the Utes last night who wanted to spoil BYU's unbeaten season.

Utah AD lit into officials after the game.

(Wow, that's never happened before...hehehe)

Ken-Dogger: Morning Eloise, you're looking regal.

Eloise: Why thanks Dogger, I'm just hanging out. I'm practicing calmness.

KD: Calmness, there is such a thing?

E: We come by it naturally, we sense it.

KD: So, you're telling me it's always there, you just gotta allow it to happen.

E: Boy, you know it's true.

KD: I'm enjoying these talks.

And even though it's Sunday,

PAPA DON'T PREACH either.

Morning Peeps,

As I'm starting to be able to feel again, I am sleeping better and I'm even going to do some cleaning today (Beer Cans fill trash cans quickly) as the Mikster comes back home on Tuesday.

And I guess I'm secretly a bit gleeful about these MAGAts finding out that OWNING THE LIBS has some costs.

Like...

TARIFFS

HIGHER TAXES

HIGHER GROCERY COSTS

LESS FOOD AVAILABLE

But you go ahead MAGAts and revel in owning the Libs.

Sade's music is getting me through the despair.

It's the Kiss of Life

@process

You don't see many women standing up to pee either.

@catlynne333

I'm thinking a whole resettlement tour where Trump supporters could get up close and personal to observe the suffering of those less fortunate.

...and the curious question lingering about a year into Trump's regime...

What will they do when their anger doesn't dissipate via Trump's policies?

I haven't seen any reporting yet on Trump's election and the effect on US Tourism.

I can't imagine being a foreigner and wanting to come here for a visit.

Unless it's for some morbid reason.

Headed to my gym to work off some of this anger.

FIND YOUR SAFE OUTLETS

As just about everyone says, we WILL get through this. We aren't going to like it, but each step I take is a step for Freedom, Dignity, and Civility.

@Jennifelroy

Ellie and I were up late texting about the election.

She doesn't truly get the results either.

ON this date in 1799 Napoleon Bonaparte leads coup and becomes dictator of France.

Bun Man just turned to Mr. Purple and me and said, "Sheesh, Dude should have waited a few years. We now vote 'em in."

Historybook: Napoleon Bonaparte leads coup and becomes dictator of France (1799); American poet and Pulitzer Prize-winner Anne Sexton born (1928); Astronomer Carl Sagan born (1934); First issue of Rolling Stone published (1967).

All politics is local...

Look what the Repubs did to take over State Legislatures...

Dems have to build local organizations first and then attempt to cross-pollinate.

...And on Monday, when you are giving a salute to Veterans, those of us who did serve this country, please go by the cemetery and give some solace to those WWII veterans laying there who, given the results of Tuesday's election, apparently died for nothing.

And the US citizens decided one fleecing wasn't enough, we need to go full-on fleecing in SCAMBO 2.

And damn given Trump's Rise of the Phoenix, can Woody Allen be far behind?
