On this date in 1872, In the U.S., Susan B. Anthony was fined $100 for attempting to vote in the presidential election.
She never paid the fine.
Bun Man just turned to Mr. Purple and me and said, "Here we are 142 years later, and people are still fightin' for the right to vote w/out prejudice.
I know where my votes going, only your heart can tell you where to mark your ballot, but please exercise your right to vote--that should never be taken away from you.
