DARPA Has an ongoing program to design and build software for large unmanned aerial vehicles. They are getting very good at it. In many test of "wingman" dogfights, they perform better than humans.

I know it's just idealistic musings, but I wonder what would happen if all the people Republicans are trying to hurt (women, people of color, LGBTQ, Jews, Muslims, immigrants, seniors, the poor and middle class) simply stopped having anything to do with any Republican?

I have no predictions as to what intelligent aliens might look like, if we were ever to contact them.

I am fairly certain, however, that the great-ape body plan we're stuck with is not so uniformly successful or dominant that we could expect every, or indeed any alien to share it.

The fact that we've been depicting aliens as tailless bilateral bipeds for over a century is largely a testament to our narcissism as a species.
