@tgraph52 That's no fun. Most of the gummies around here are like what you get. Only the multi dose made by Good Day Farms is dosed like that.

@tgraph52 No but it's expected to be fairly soon. They're also about to allow medical patients to have up to 14 plants of their own.
That's probably bc it's a medical dose. Most states have a cap on rec dosages, but med can be whatever the heart desires.

I take very high doses at night for sleep, but I make my own oils for cannacaps. The caps are ~30 mg, of which I take about 3 over several hours.
I don't take them all at once though. It's, unfortunately, very easy to bump up tolerance when using it as medicine 😕

It's good that you've found something to help what ails you.
I've only eaten one edible and thought it was pleasant. My drug of choice, since about 1969 is flower. I'm fortunate to have avoided getting myself in trouble with all the other things I've tried over the years.
I'm flower usually. These are just for post surgery. Like a couple days after.
It doesn't always help, but I won't take xanax anymore, so I still hope it works for the evening. I don't combust anymore, but have a dry herb vape and usually save a nug or two from the flower before I cook it for the oils. A puff or two usually kicks the cap into gear (which is better than eating extra fats to do it 😂)

My son once gave my wife a 20mg brownie and said to try 1/2. She's fairly new to edibles. It put her right down on the couch and then when I got home from work she was laying on the bed... my first thought was Chesire Cat from the smile on her face. She said the pictures on the walls were doing some strange things. It wasn't unpleasant, just unexpected... It turns out it was a 200mg brownie and she ate 100mg.
Last year, my now 80 year old Dad ate half a 25 mg sucker, and got so paranoid he called the fire department. When they came out they said "Sir, you're fine, your vital signs are in normal range, just go take a nap, you are just extremely high." 😂

way back, made a pan of brownies with 2 oz. cleaned Colombian something…6’6”, 240 lb. roomie, never been high, watches the entire process, goes into his room. i run to the store, and within 5 minutes, roomie ate 4. according to his upset girlfriend, he spent eight hours giggling in a beanbag chair.

Way back a friend and I made some brownies to take on a canoe trip to the Boundary Waters in northern MN. They weren't very good, to eat, but we kept trying. So one evening he and I sat looking out over the almost silent lake where we were camped and decided to just finish off the whole batch. We sat like that, watching the sun going down and listening to the occasional loon calling until it was pitch black out... That was a nice time.

Did they tell you to quit prior to the surgery, as well? Or just inform them that you medicate & the dosage?
I hadn't heard of issues post surgery with cannabis, esp considering cbd is recommended for post-op pain, but it can screw with the anesthesia beforehand.

@CanisPundit Hmm, I'll re discuss it with my surgeon. He had previously said 24 hrs but it never hurts to double check.
@LowEndMuse I’d check with an anesthesiologist - it’s their piece of the surgery.
@CanisPundit I'll get to see the anesthesiologist approximately ten minutes before I go back. That's how all my surgeries have been here.
