I wrote a poem today at work:

Turkey, taters, rolls, and gravy

Ate too much, feeling lazy.

Family, sports, shopping, parade

Time for desserts, all homemade.

Thanksgiving hullabaloo over and done

No rest though. We do it again next month.

Am disabled and need an affordable place to live in the USA that won't do this again to me. I'm not picky, just trying to stay alive and housed.

Any recommendations? Any state, city etc. I'm done with my area. Am working with an attorney to figure out my options but it's not looking good because the judge does not enforce tenants' rights.

Without going into details, am looking for a new place to move. Where I live, my landlord routinely gets aways with discrimination and retaliation.
