@Agatha Oh my god, I would have just become homeless. 😳😳😳😳 You are so brave!!

@Agatha OMG 😳😳😳😳 I don’t know how you did that. I’ve seen those swarms, though. I’ll always have PTSD from those swarms. In general, bugs and I do not get along. Let’s just say, I’ve been stung by a bumble bee, among other things. I have a bunch of stories about encounters with roaches over the years too.

Last night I couldn’t get sleep. Between battling two roaches in the house and one of my dogs who needed to be rushed out of the house every hour, it’s been rough. I was supposed to go to the kitchen today, but I went to the vet instead. Pest control will be here Thursday to spray again. Hopefully, tonight is a better night.

@singlemaltgirl Thank you. ❤️ Yes, every itch and tingle is a roach crawling me, according to my freaked out brain. That’s still happening. But, pest control will be here on Thursday to spray again.

@Agatha No, it’s been raining for months. We’re all so sick of all the rain and mud. 🫣

@Agatha The first roach I saw tonight was smaller and lighter in color, so I think it was born in the house. 😳😳😳😳😳😳 The second one had obviously crawled in from the outside through the pipes. The roaches got really bad here in Charlotte last year, and clearly that’s still going on. I’m on one of those pay monthly programs with a pest control company.

Every single roach makes me lose my shit. I hate those things so much.

But, I know what you’re talking about with those small ones.

@Math Serves me right for trying to go to bed before 1am to TRY to get a decent night’s sleep.

@Math My dog woke me up, then a giant roach in the tub REALLY woke me up. 😳

I think I just heard a critter on the roof.

What is going on????? I think we’re under attack! 😳

I just saw my second roach in the house tonight (we get the house sprayed regularly 😳). The first one I squished to death, and the second one was in the tub so I poured 1/2 a bottle of bleach on it before I turned on the faucet to wash it down the drain (it was still alive 😳). The drain is closed and there’s bleach and water in the tub now.

I may never sleep again.

Calls will be made in a few hours.

"If the insurrectionists and anybody involved in the Jan. 6 attack go unpunished, the threat of political violence will become a consistent and dangerous fixture in our democratic system."

"Performers, business owners and parents voice opposition to drag show restrictions at Texas Senate committee hearing" During the hearing, dozens of drag performers and their allies testified against these bills and also said efforts to criminalize certain drag performances were attacks on Texans’ First Amendment rights, while others said the legislation took away Texas parents’ rights to decide what content or culture their children are exposed to.

It wasn’t even contemplated that little girls can have their periods in third grade or fourth grade,” Gantt said in her testimony. “If we are preparing children to be informed adults, we need to inform them about their bodies and that’s something very basic.”

Because reasons. Just not good biological reasons. When dumb men decide things…

THIS. IS. DUMB.

@1Firewire He’s already responsible for so much death and destruction, so this isn’t news. Thankfully, he’s not in charge anymore, so there’s only so much he can do, which in NYC means he can’t do anything. Any violent protest will be shut down immediately.
