Whenever I screen capture a tweet, I make sure to include the date it was posted, so that anyone can go verify that it's an actual, real tweet, especially if it's outrageous. Posting tweets without that, especially when they're ludicrous, makes me doubt their veracity. I'm a librarian, and accurate information is my jam.

@LiberalLibrarian The *real* trouble comes when you realise how immensely easy it is to fake a tweet *including* the date. There are apps which do only that and if you claim it's a deleted tweet, it's pretty hard to prove it never happened.

@LiberalLibrarian me, too.. and I try to credit any video snip I post so that folks can check for themselves.. it is an old librarian habit, I suppose.
