@stueytheround Not an Old Fashioned! That's a whiskey Negroni. (The whiskey takes the place of gin.) Campari is too bitter for my palate. When I was in Barca, we went to a Negroni bar. Fortunately, they had whisky. @sfleetucker

@LiberalLibrarian Maybe. TBH if the bitter isn't your thing, it might just taste like ruined whiskey to you. Campari does taste like concentrated tonic water! 🤣

@stueytheround @LiberalLibrarian Generally a high rye bourbon. Redemption rye was my go to, but I switch out the Cocchi di Torino for Carpano Antica.

@sfleetucker @LiberalLibrarian Are we talking cocktails? I just heard of a new one. Take a 20-oz plastic glass, fill it half-and-half with Miller Lite and Diet Coke, garnish with Cheetos, yell "Make America Great Again!" and throw it in the nearest Republican's face.

@LiberalLibrarian I hardly ever drink Scotch. Nothing against it, just prefer American & Irish. (Irish not very often, just when I want something sweet.)
The one that absolutely requires ice, for me, is vodka. And don't bother me with that Stoli or whatever nonsense -- I like real potato vodka. I want to taste those spuds, skins and all.
