We all have one. That awesome TV show which should have had a long run, but was canceled after one season. Mine is "Space: Above and Beyond." What are some of yours?
@LiberalLibrarian BrainDead, but I get it. Too on the nose.
@kel Wow, I just looked that up. Sounds interesting, and I'd never heard of it. It's now on Paramount+.
@LiberalLibrarian It was *amazing*.
@kel @LiberalLibrarian Another thumbs up for Space: Above and Beyond. So many Big Ideas that they never got to explore.
@LiberalLibrarian Honorable mention to Firefly, which was ruthlessly cut down in its prime. π―οΈ
@LiberalLibrarian
There was a brilliant show on the BBC called Maestro, where celebrities learned to conduct an orchestra with the winner getting to conduct the BBC Philharmonic in a performance of Beethoven's 5th Symphony at The Proms in the Park.
It was brilliant and I wish they'd do it again.
@LiberalLibrarian I'm sure I'll come up with a bunch, but I've got 2 season+ shows: Dollhouse and Boomtown.
@LiberalLibrarian β’ My So-Called Life
β’ Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

@LiberalLibrarian I'm going to say Alphas. Sy-Fy killed it suddenly as part of their rebranding into a crap network. The season 2 (and series) finale was one of the darkest, unresolved cliffhangers I've ever seen.
@ianthealy I haven't watched anything on Sci-Fi since BSG.
@LiberalLibrarian (and I know you said 1 season but I couldn't think of any bedsides Firefly, which is obvious). Check out Killjoys though. It could totally be set in the same setting as Firefly.
@LiberalLibrarian First one that comes to mind is Firefly
