Just listening to the news and I wonder where we are heading now as the inhabitants of this planet.?
There is so much disaster, forests burning people drowning, hunger in large parts - and so many military conflicts!
I remember the movement that had the slogan Weapons to ploughs. Now we are doing the total opposite.
And can I ask why???

I still can not understand why scientists still can't find the cure for HIV virus or TB or cure for some cancer..in this modern age, with the technology and knowledge, and funding available..still we r way back.
I am quite concerned about the disappearing of the large number of birds since the cooler temperatures.
We used to have about 15 to 30 sparrows and a similar number of starlings. Besides some other birds.
Now there are just a few tits and blackbirds around the feeders.
I have no idea what happened to the birds.
