@Alfred How long is an average stick?
You broke Alfred. πΉ
While you wait, ChatGPT v4 says:
βIn more casual or colloquial usage, when someone refers to βa stick,β they might be picturing something roughly the size of a small branch they could pick up off the groundβpotentially anywhere from 30 cm to 2 meters (about 1 to 6.5 feet) long, depending on the situation and whatβs available.β
@Kurtroedeger @amarand @kel at what point does a stick become a log?
Didnβt even press play. Still stuck in my head. Damnit! πͺ΅πΉ
@kel and now I'll be singing stupid Ren , Stimpy songs all day. Thaaaanks Kel.
@amarand @Beanc @kel
I'd say branch is the transitional stage between log and stick. A small branch could be a stick, and a large branch could be a log (if fallen on the ground, still a branch if in the air). And there is a stage where a branch is neither a log or a stick but just between the two of them. Primarily, a log would be the trunk of a tree that has fallen or been felled. So you could have a branch that's a branch and bigger than a log that's just a log.
@amarand Professional Kurt is a complete Kurt.*
*I'm not sure if that reads like a huge compliment or a terrible insult. Please assume the former.
