Good news from #Mexico : The Supreme has ruled that a "reform" of the electric utility passed by Congress in 2021 at the urging of President Lopez Obrador is unconstitutional. The "reform" could be accurately characterized as eco-suicide; it required the electrical utility to favour coal and natural gas over renewables.
Mexico could meet all of its electrical needs with solar power, and even export some of it.

@Keysalagain Some random observations: Bob Weir should definitely be on this list. Frankie Valli's voice was gone years ago, and Brian Wilson is barely capable of performing. (Wilson's second wife, Melinda Ledbetter, died today.) Peter Cetera and Robert Lamm are still at it, but Terry Kath died 43 years ago.

@bluesbaby What I've heard so far is, the Court didn't object to the Emergies Act being applied in Ottawa. Their objection was to applying it nationwide.
