@willmckinley I watched it every week when it was originally aired. The series attracted a lot of interest when it came down to the last two episodes.
There was a faction of viewers who characterized Lt. Gerard as the third most incompetent man on TV, behind Lt. Tragg and D.A. Burger.
One historically interesting thing about the series was, it depicted the life of a "drifter", a category of person that has disappeared from the American landscape.
@th3j35t3r Definitely. Gen. Beck and his supporters were all set to launch a coup in 1938, but had to scrap it when Chamberlain sold out Czechoslovakia. That triumph for Hitler made him too popular to overthrow.

@WeThePeople Shortages of food, and especially water, cause wars.
If Russia has a shortage of employable people, there are plenty of refugees from the Middle East and Africa that they could bring in.
@WeThePeople I hate it when population decreases are framed this way. The economy can adjust, but overpopulation is destroying the planet.
#LincolnProject God made a dictator. She said βI need a man who failed in everything but theft and broken promises to live in a golden palace and convince the poor he serves their needs.β So God made Trump.

@Treebugz Haven't watched it yet, but will definitely do so. I've heard that they are drawing good crowds.
#CoSoCanucks Excellent article about the state of passenger rail in Canada. I'm one of the people pushing for getting Victoria-Courtenay passenger trains going again.

@KazzyH I like watching women's curling. The competition itself is interesting, but there's something special about good looking 30-something women sliding down the ice yelling "hard".
@Kaysymmetry A HIGH of -20 (-4 fahrenheit) predicted for Friday here in Kamloops.
@MLClark I recently gave it a rewatch, but deliberately skipped the final season which, IMHO, wasn't very good.
Yes, you should watch The Sopranos.
