Women and ethnic minorities voting for Trump do NOT have my sympathy for what is in store for them. The rest, however, we have failed miserably as a country.

I get that a big part of this was people voting out of nostalgia for a pre-Covid economy and lifestyle (even though we know it isn't logical), but I just can't fathom the majority of people saying yes to someone so blatantly *evil* because they figure those evil qualities are secondary.

All the votes aren't counted, but I couldn't be more disappointed with this country. Right now, Trump has received around 5,000,000 fewer votes (give or take) than in 2020, and Harris has received around 17,000,000 fewer votes than Biden in 2020. SEVENTEEN MILLION!

Biden has until January 20th to protect the stuff that is going to be affected by Project 2025.

i’m having an existential crisis. this is so fucking bad. so much death is about to befall us. children dying of preventable diseases, good people who can’t afford to escape red states taking things into their own hands, iykwim. this is going to be catastrophic. i’m probably going to be fine, though i’ll have to marry my partner and transfer all my assets to him, but… i can’t abide the suffering of others. this is so bad, i can’t even believe it. i just can’t.
