@ATXJane Thank you, and better friends since the one ex-friend I mentioned has been too lazy to bother with me. Idealize, devalue, then oops -- I discarded her before she had a chance. And if she sends me a lunacy letter, I'll just use it for story fodder like the others. I suspect now she's a covert narc, just wish I figured it out before.

Today I yeeted that "friend" who stopped taking my calls, stopped messaging me, but continued to re-post whatever came up in her doomscroll. My now ex-friend even "liked" one of my FB posts but could not be bothered to ask me if I was OK after I called her and left a message saying I needed someone to talk to. She reaped what she sowed. I won't miss her. Too bad, so sad for her. Next!

@ACG2 @tw33k Google yielded no results. I dumped my LinkedIn account because I find it useless. Yet they want you to create an account now in order to search. I say yeah…no. I emailed her about the quality of care concerns and surprising it did not bounce back. :) So either she's still there and pet store ex-parroty of a therapist lied to cover her bum, or someone else in mgmt will read the email. Either way, progress

@JPSCHWEIZER63 @Brisse Agreed. At the end of the day sometimes we just need to make art for ourselves, our own joy if nobody's buying our stuff or leaving comments on our socials. I keep learning that the hard way. If it's not fun, then do something else that hopefully brings us joy until we feel happy making pictures again. I keep wanting to get a breakthrough, something that will take off but that never happens. So I try my best to stay out of the scroll wheel of doom. Hope this helps.
