I had a deaf cat in San Diego who managed to get into the craziest places without disturbing a thing.

New glasses. My sense of smell and taste have been pretty much kaput for ages, so I’m at prime augmentation.

The housemate’s 9 year old son found a box turtle in the garden and wanted to make a habitat for it. I may have said something about the ones I used to make for my boas at some point in the past.
So I grabbed a 40 gallon terrarium (that’s just an aquarium that doesn’t hold water). We added some coconut husk medium, a ramp and tray for water, and a couple of small food trays. It sits next to a big window and under 2 skylights for sun.

An objective observer might say I did nothing today, but they’d be mistaken. I closed one of my activity rings.

I get a kick out of color coordinating my watch and phone. I think it’s fun and there’s the added bonus of it making my too-serious housemate roll his eyes every time I do it.

I’m hardly ever satisfied with the few selfies I take, but I take one now and then in order to see myself in a context not a bathroom mirror.
I have never liked mustaches. I don’t like hair under my nose. But I also don’t like being clean shaven. That makes me look even more the bland old white guy. I like the beard, if I can call it a beard without looking like a member of ZZTop. So I decided to take a chance on a different look than I’ve had before.

I had to put my Windows monitor back on my desk today so I could let Paris play some of my Steam games. I’d forgotten how much real estate it occupies.
