2000 rounds is a case. Not an unusual sale at all.
Don't be distracted by details. He legally bought the weapon and ammunition, something that more effective/ restrictive laws may have prevented.
Crazies are gonna be crazy - we have to make it difficult, or atvleast inconvenient to be so deadly.
