@phase2 post from the other day has me thinking about movies.

Movies I haven't seen in a while that I enjoyed, & would stop to watch again if it showed up on the guide on TV.

The last Starfighter, Iron Eagle, The lost boys, Remo Williams-the adventure begins, Big trouble in little China, The Manhattan project, Tango & Cash, the thomas crown affair (remake), Swordfish, Arlington road.

What's your list of stop-scrolling movies?

@phase2 @JGNWYRK It's been far too long since I've watched Iron Eagle! Your list is great. On that post I brought in Silverado. The Wraith is over of those bad movies I'll watch every time. Adventures in Babysitting is way up on the list.

@Fellixe @phase2 the wraith, is that the one with Charlie sheen in a bizarre revenge film (way before the Crow)

@JGNWYRK

If I'm scrolling through, I'm probably wanting brain candy more than my usual.

Definitely Big Trouble in Little China, most Bond movies, the Bourne movies.
Knives Out. Clue. The Thin Man movies. Pink Panther movies. Groundhog Day.

And, I confess, I have a soft spot for romcoms. Some of them.

10 Things I Hate About You (an actually good movie)
Bringing up Baby (that banter!)
High Fidelity
The Holiday
Empire Records

@JGNWYRK @phase2
Wolf . Jack Nicholson
12Monkeys . Bruce Willis
Matrix . Keanu Reeves
The Other Guys . Will Ferrell Mark Wahlberg

I own all of these but will always stop what I'm doing to watch them if I come across them in the TV Guide:

BTTF Trilogy
Groundhog Day
Aliens
Life of Brian
just about any Bond flick
The Cornetto Trilogy

Although if they're cut/censored I'll switch them off.
