One of the most sobering moments in my life was visiting Arlington National Cemetery for the first time. Words can't describe how unprepared you are to see thousands and thousands of rows of tombstones.
I wish I visited for a better reason, but life doesn't always work out like you want. Rest in peace Corporal Brendan J. Horner. May you find the peace in the afterlife that escaped you here.
