Serious question as a new "Counter": how easily embeddable are these posts on other sites? Easy embeddability is one reason Twitter and Facebook are so dominant, anything that's gonna be an alternative has to be too.

Let's say you want to post a longer piece.
You can easily create a "thread" by posting the first bit, then on the second post, replying to that first post by using the little left arrow at the bottom.

This then creates a thread, and a Blue Text will appear at the bottom, "Show Thread"
Just keep on replying to that your last post... And Boom you got a thread !
