My toddler was talking at length of how she was worried about "the merman." She was scared of him. And I was trying to figure out what she meant by that, and reassured her that of all the various cryptids and mythological creatures, that was one of the least scary, until she pointed outside and squeaked "the merman!". Folks? It was the mailman.

As a result, now I can't help but compliment people, or look them in the eyes or feel comfortable in my own life, and go out of my way to help others work through their dark days! We are ALL a work in progress!

Not so very long ago when things weren't going good for me at all, I truly crawled deeply into myself. I didn't and couldn't see any good in me, my life or anything affecting me or my life - I couldn't look at anybody in the eyes, couldn't compliment anybody for anything at all... I'm so glad (AND RELIEVED) that has done a complete 180 including doind what I needed to do, what I COULD control to make my life a lot better for myself because others never gave up on me!

@duglop Swooped on CoSo for a few because, feeling a tad bit overwhelmed & overloaded with thoughts.

This post was what I opened up CoSo to.

This post not only makes me happy for you; I try to be & do the same way, at least most days; it also reminded me to keep climbing that hill that I've seemed to slide so far backwards down lately.

Your post was in the right place, at the right moment, for me.

Thank you so much!💝

And with that, gotta go take my meds & rest; back tomorrow? G'night All

@AskTheDevil So far do good. One day at a time. He seems in great spirits, all things considered.

Howdy Folks! G'son's nauseous & dizzy at times as to be expected. Dr today: "Bed rest, feet elevated"; to a 5 yr old that means in the living room on the couch, standing on his head🤦‍♀️😮😬🤣Told his Mom he needs a helmet!

Busy. Ya know I proudly say I'm nosey; got vid of wreck; kiddo sent to police. I enhanced to get clearer shot of truck that hit them; can't see driver nor tags from angle; will find tho; truck never turned it's wheels away; plowed thru like a train🤬
Just checking in; love to all!

Good Afternoon! Grandson rushed back to 🏨 yesterday evening. Told mild concussion; home resting today. His Dad's in a lot of pain, but mobile.

Had to give his Ma our last $ to get meds & groceries, but no biggie; missed her EBT recert because she was in the hospital! She didn't know until yesterday(usual deposit) so handling it today. She was already shaken over wreck & THOUGHT she'd have food in house. Grandma made sure💪

Doing surveys now & making a few bucks. Check back in when I can 💸

@Vikky Thanks so much! He & Dad home resting; let them go @ 5:30 am. He'll follow up w/Dr soon. Mom was home w/their 6mo old & young daughter, who started freaking out because Mama was & it's critical Mama keeps her BP down. Thankfully they lived through it and Mama can spoil them all now & relax somewhat.

Seatbelts always save lives & Chevy"s are lifesavers, at least in my fam. Hubs was in bad wreck in Chevy truck, Daughter in Chevy car, my Grandson in Chevy car. None were at fault, all lived

@IronButterfly Lol; I take pictures of butterflies when I can; they're spectacularly colored. But, I was watching a kids show one morning 😁 & it told me something new; their wings are actually iridescent 😮 I fear all flying things except birds🤦‍♀️ One of my semi-writing handles includes "Butterfly" & I've always called my Granddaughter "My Lil Butterfly".

As long as something flying doesn't touch me, I'm good. Hubs thinks it's hilarious when I take off running & screaming from things

@Andynowackiv2 Goodnight Dear; rest well. Great to see you here again; I've been in & out myself

I could have told them this. Wonder how many they ate 🤣

I'll bet someone here on CoSo could do it. Wouldn't it be something if your smarter than the folks MIT!

I would love an Oreo right about now

The first thing you should do when you want to train away resource defense in a dog is to identify the causes of the behavior. What makes the dog feel compelled to act this way? Which resource or resources does the dog want to try to defend and from whom? Once you've found the root of the problem, you can then work on untangling the knots. You do this by gradually exposing the dog to the trigger in a controlled environment.

Happy Sunday!

Hey, writer peoples:

Scheduled to do my 7th (!) annual workshop for Nova Southeastern U's Alvin Sherman Library in January 2024. (Free, I'll post details in Nov, Dec.)

Anyway . . . I'm wondering what topic to do this time. Done creating characters, settings, pacing, dialogue, interior description, book covers. Could repeat an older one of those.

Please send me what you'd love a workshop subject to be - maybe one you've never seen?

Good morning CoSo 🦋 🌞
What do you need today? 💖

@IronButterfly Love your handle; I love butterflies dearly even if I do run from them😅As a kid one landed on me & I freaked out not knowing what it was attacking me lol; my big Bro (& Hubs now too) pick at me about it.

Good Morning!

And by the way, I need one of each😁
