I wonder if broccoli, asparagus and brussels sprouts sit around and try to figure out how the hell kale became so popular when it tastes worse than they do.

Come to think of it, I wonder about that, too.

Some say it's a personality quirk (like I don't have enough of those already), but I absolutely hate ever being late to anything. Many years ago, a mentor of mine told me something I've never forgotten: "Early is on time, on time is late, late is unacceptable."

Yeah, yeah... I'm awake. I'm just not that happy about it.
