My wife says she's worried I may have a caffeine problem.

I politely explained to her that, in fact, I suffer from caffeine deficiency syndrome and require regular infusions as treatment.

My wife thinks I'm weird, in case you were wondering.


"Coffee is like liquid poetry, it flows within us and fuels our creativity."

And generally by the third cup, I'm almost feeling conscious.


Even after over three decades in the industry, I still get amused over being on television. It's a rather odd way to make a living. 😜


Coffee is simply happiness in a mug.

No coffee, on the other hand, is the end of all existence, leaving the entire universe bereft of meaning and purpose.

Getting into the Halloween spirit today. Either that, or descriptions of me being a monster before coffee are more correct than I would like to admit...



Is it Monday *again*? Sheesh, it feels like we just did this a week ago.

(grumbles) I need more coffee...


It's time to seize the day and carpe that damn diem into submission before it does something unwanted. And, oh yeah, maybe it's also time for coffee... 😎 ☕


Not sure why, but I'm feeling a bit prickly this morning. Probably a good thing I work from home.


♫ ♪ The best part of waking up, is ♪ ♫ ... well, waking up of course. After that, though, coffee is a very close second.


I was thinking about the whole duality of man thing this morning.

You know, the idea that humans have two contradictory parts in their nature yet somehow we can get the body and soul to exist together in harmony like a mystical/reality yin and yang of life.

Then I realized I really needed some coffee.


Some days you just need the finer things in life, like fresh coffee and croissants. So where's my personal chef and valet to bring them to me?

(grumbling) Fine, I'll go make them myself.


Since it's October now, I guess it's time to get into Halloween mode.

"Tell the witches to cast a coffee spell!"


Heavy rains and high winds this morning due to Helene. Just one more reason to stay indoors and enjoy another cup of coffee.
