I too am a supporter of KIVA microloans - I put In $100 years ago, added a bit more here and there over time, and keep relending as it's paid back. There have been a few minor defaults, but overall how can a small bit of funding do more good. I never look to take the $$ out.

I usually end up with 3-5 miles of walking around here. Might only hit a couple places tonight. But I enjoy the ambling. But I'm carrying my travel bag, nothing checked. So an extra 20lb or so.

A quick flight across the island to San Juan, then drinks dinner and barhopping until returning to the airport at maybe 2am for my 0330 flight. I love old San Juan's blue cobblebrick streets and architecture.

My nextdoor neighbor here in PR has at least a dozen cats, plus random chickens and roosters. Each block seems to have it's own herd of cats and flock of chickens that occupy abandoned houses and roam the streets. Keeps the bug and mice down, I reckon. 😂

My belated #Caturday contribution. My friend says there are 16+/- that claim her house as residence. 4-5 are allowed in-house, and of course there are a couple of neighborhood guest cats usually.

I get to go back to the boat today - she was a bit rough - leaves and such, dirty deck and feeling lonely. I will wash and cover her better today before leaving her again. She'll be properly tucked in.
