I wish I'd had veggies in the fridge when I pulled off last week's almost instant steamed salmon on rice in 15 min. My rice cooker has a steamer insert. I wrapped frozen filet in foil, dosed with various spices, cooked an ounce of jasmine rice with black sesame seeds --- 15 min to plate, topped with hoisin and plum sauce. Dinner!

@pendrag See that wheel? We had one made out of metal exactly the same in our playground mid 60s in Omaha. We played on that thing. Ran around the inside the outside bars. I know nobody fell out, at least not from the top. What the fuck were they thinking?

Okay I'm 67, and other than Pac-Man a little bit of Mario Brothers and asteroids and pong decades ago. I haven't played any games online or off. I just have no interest. I puzzle out fixing things and building things and ain't got time or interest for that shit. Anybody with me or am I weird. Okay, don't answer that. 🤧✌️

Just woken up, I have no idea if I gained or lost an hour and the only clock that wouldn't change in the house is the microwave - but I had unplugged it and plugged it back in sometime before I went to bed while reorganizing things in the pantry where it sits. I either slept for 5 hours or 7 and I have no idea.

Man, 3rd day of sore throat and I've crashed hard this afternoon. I'm at the doctor's b/c I feel achy/shitty. I spent the morning in my jammies analyzing and updating/changing my old salvage office computers: W10 to MX23, Mint 21 to 23 (in progress), one to an Ubuntu server (next), and I suppose I'll make the least of them a W10 for the occasional win program I need. May try some virtual machines. Haven't played with them since a stuttering start with VMware 20+ years ago.
