@FireMonkey For anyone needing extra motivation: vote to show your solidarity with the courageous people of . They’re sacrificing everything to save their democracy. The absolute LEAST we can do is to fight for OURS.

@Flambe
I used to rarely fart. Then I went in for a hernia repair and I've been farting like a choo choo train ever since.

Gooood morning CoSocialites!
Off to pollworking again 8-5. Early voting last day. Tomorrow, Tuesday is super Tuesday in the presidential primary. Polls are open 7-7. We make it as easy as possible to vote mail-in ballots for everyone and yet turn-out in the US is typically dismal. I just don't understand how people don't appreciate the fact that they are allowed to vote. And that it truly is part of their civic responsibility. The apathy is crushing.

It's 5 O'clock somewhere, and that somewhere is HERE. Time to go make a drink. 🥃

@YouInMyEye
Corporations in America are simply selling snake oil and there are no regulations. They own the regulators.

@evistre
The last I recall going thru and listening to evaluate them, (long ago) most were in less than stellar condition -- the first bit of each side seem to have suffered some bleed thru and was now warbly - probably from living most of their lives in various vehicles also in less than stellar condition. The memories of the hand written labels being worth more to me than the contained music.

I'd almost do it if you weren't clear over on the other side of the pond. @TomeReader

I just took my VCR player and a 5 disk CD player to the thrift store a week ago. They'd been sitting there not hooked up for the last decade or more probably.

I have a drawer of CD's and one of cassettes - mostly mix tapes I made 30+ years ago. There's also a 3 ft crate of vinyl from 50-30 years old. ~music never dies...it just gets stashed and forgotten.

Today is just jammies, coffee, chilaquiles, coffee, reading, snacking, music. Long hot shower. Back in robe and jammies. Put a corned beef on. More of the same. Wind is whipping outside, 40kts and 45 degrees. I got nowhere I have to go. ;^)

@CarmenSlamdiego @WordsmithFL
No, that's the other cartoonist - office cartoons...the Dilbert guy I think.

@evamarie

Microplastics they studied are less than 5mm. I think I'd see that, and that just filtering would take care of it.

I don't know that nanoparticles aren't of more concern. (nanoparticles are 1 nanometer to 1 micrometer - thousands of times smaller than the width of a hair - around 80-100,000 nm)

Am I right to assume the nanos and the micros are coagulated by the Ca+?

Just some questions to ponder.

Oh cool! I didn't know you could shove somebody out of the way that way.

I run on Chromebooks and usually it's awkward and I need a bigger screen. I can't cast movie night to my TV / Chromecast for whatever reason.

It's all good, but if it was easier, I'd spend more time in movie night.

I don't want to sit in my office with my Linux machines or my one cheesy old windows laptop attached to a bigger screen.

@AskTheDevil @corlin
That's it.
Not escapism.
Being present in the mud, the blood, and the beer.
Not lost in it.
Seeing it.
Better able to deal with it because you are fully present.

Be here now.
Not somewhere else mentally.
Not lost in fear or projection.
Here. Now.

Check out "The Book" by Alan Watts.

@Mandypar
Good evening Mandy.
🌃 Sleep well and dream good things.

I have not watched Jon Stewarts eulogy for his dog. I don't think I could take it. I'm tearing now just thinking about it.

I could handle both of my parents' death in old age. Because it was appropriate. It was the way of things.

Losing a companion like your dog just sucks. A lot. And we have to go thru it so many times and it never gets easier.

@Ironworker229
Well, I tried. He sympathizes, but it's up to the client, the RR. No worries, I'll just abstain. There's plenty of time.

Anyone have recommendations on cleanse products?

@Ironworker229

As it shouldn't be. I'll talk with my contact who is sending me for testing to see if his form has the same option. Thanks for the info.
