How can a restaurant have “homemade” sauce? Isn’t it by definition not homemade if a restaurant is making it? Do words still even mean anything?

And as they say a house is not a home.

It should probably be more properly known as house made or in-house. But, we want to hearken back to the Midwestern pioneer days and ask you to believe that it's homemade.

@FireMonkey @MrGoat But “in-house” does not actually mean a house, so calling it homemade is a straight up lie even if it actually is made in-house.

I prefer when they say scratch made, or made on site, or something along those lines. I know what they mean by homemade, but it bugs me.
