There's different kinds. Some has fried egg and basil and lemongrass and chicken and some are vegan with sprouts and peanut sauce and pickled carrots and ginger and hot pepper other vegetables! All yummy!

Pickles on pizza wouldn't always be good, I'll give you that, but in the right circumstances I'm sure they'd be delicious. Add a little spicy mustard, perhaps a touch of sauerkraut, maybe some horseradish too, and you've got a truly unconventional / pungent pizza-shaped dish :P
At that point, though, I'm not sure if you could really call it pizza. I think it's sufficiently different to call it something else.

That looks like pulled pork--so maybe a BBQ pizza. That could be good.
Surprisingly good, added a nice tang, worked with the shredded chicken.
