Somewhere, Richard Nixon is saying โ€œWhere were these judges in 1973? WTF!โ€

Oh, if your new here, Hi, welcome to CoSo! Be sure to check out and sometime if that's of interest. But we also have and lots and lots of great folks here from all walks of life and parts of the world.

@mmpadellan Well, Iโ€™m late to the party! ๐Ÿ˜… Hope to see you active back here again soon. No algorithms but this site is mostly like-minded, respectful folks who enjoy adult conversations. Weโ€™re mutuals on Twitter (I will never call it X. So boring and unoriginal!), you were one of my first followers back in 2016 when I began to get engaged in trying to help alert people to the dangers of trump's โ€˜presidencyโ€™.

@Rocker I love using words that perfectly describe what I mean. The word could be simplified, but then the nuance disappears.

Interesting, isnโ€™t it that maga blames โ€œJoe Bidenโ€™s DOJโ€ for trumpโ€™s prosecution, but CRICKETS about Hunter Bidenโ€™s? So weird.

@LnzyHou I was just about to start the show. I knew I had to when I saw Bryan Cranston. Love that guy!

@Minholkin Iโ€™ve been seeing this whole mess as the ultra-conservative (and mostly white) hail-Mary to retain their inherent privilege. Also, these days I would never challenge a maga evangelical to Twister. Theyโ€™ve elevated contorting themselves into an art form.

@th3j35t3r Iโ€™m seeing a lot of former trump supporters come to terms (especially today and also after 1/6) but those who have challenges with critical thinking are well and truly stuck. Theyโ€™re being fed a diet of fear and misinformation within their own comfortable environments. I honestly donโ€™t know what *really* matters to them anymore.

@kel Iโ€™d be shocked if thereโ€™s jail time. Probation, maybe? House arrest would be my most optimistic outcome. Dude wonโ€™t even be able to vote for himself!

A clean sweep for our country. There is hope we can now move forward and clean up the scum left on the floor. apnews.com/article/85558c6d08e

@corlin Few things scare the bejeezuz out of me, but AI is right up there.

@FabulousLVNV

I am conflicted about jail time.

I am not conflicted that he be acknowledged as the crook heโ€™s been his entire life.

Unfit to hold office.

@LnzyHou It seems like thereโ€™s at least 1 juror who favors tfg. Hopefully, they arenโ€™t so far gone in the cult (it took me a long time to acknowledge to myself that extreme maga is indeed a cult) that they disregard evidence and the law. Iโ€™m cautiously optimistic that justice will prevail. Iโ€™m less optimistic that, if found guilty, there will be jail time.

Malcolm X Day

Malcolm X, born Malcolm Little on May 19, 1925, in Omaha, Nebraska, is a prominent figure in American history, known for his advocacy for the rights of African Americans and his influence on the civil rights movement. His life was a journey of transformation, marked by a series of significant personal and ideological changes, which ultimately made him one of the most influential voices against racial oppression.

Title: Breaking the Illusion of Two-Sided Division: Embracing a New Reality

In the labyrinth of human existence, we are incessantly bombarded with the illusion of choice, trapped within the confines of a binary narrative. Society presents us with a deceptive dichotomy, urging us to pick a side, to pledge allegiance to one ideology over another.
